1. Overview

Photo Blur & Mosaic AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that lets you blur, redact, and anonymize sensitive information in photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and isn't) collected when you use the app.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your photos or any image content
• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports that identify you personally

All image processing is performed locally on your device using on-device machine learning models. Your photos never leave your device.

3. Local-Only Processing

Every blur, redaction, and anonymization operation runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad. No image data is uploaded to any server — ours or anyone else's.

4. Face Data

To help you blur faces automatically, the app uses an on-device machine learning model to detect the location of faces within a photo you choose. This face detection:

• Runs entirely on your device — no photo, face, or face-location data is ever uploaded, transmitted, or sent to us or to any third party.
• Is not stored after the app closes or the photo is no longer open — it exists only transiently in memory while you are editing that photo.
• Is not used to identify who a person is. The app only detects that a face-shaped region exists so it can be blurred; it does not perform facial recognition or match faces to any identity.
• Is never used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than applying the blur effect you request.

Because face detection happens only on your device and nothing is retained afterward, there is no server-side storage or retention period to describe — the data simply does not leave your device or persist beyond the editing session.

Third-Party Sharing of Face Data

• We do not share face data with any third parties. The face detection runs entirely on your device using an on-device machine learning model. No face coordinates, face images, or any face-related data are transmitted to us, to any third-party service, or to any server.
• No third party receives or stores your face data. Because face data never leaves your device, no third party stores it, and there is no third-party retention period to describe.
• Face data is not used for advertising or analytics. It is used solely and transiently to identify which region of the photo you want to blur, and is discarded immediately after the blur is applied.

5. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

Photo Blur & Mosaic AI Pro is available as an in-app purchase. To manage subscriptions and validate purchases, we use RevenueCat, a third-party service. RevenueCat may receive:

• A randomized, anonymized app user identifier (generated by RevenueCat)
• Purchase receipts issued by Apple, used solely for purchase verification

RevenueCat does not receive your photos, name, or any other personal information. You can review RevenueCat's privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. Apple Payments

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data: apple.com/legal/privacy.

7. Children's Privacy

Photo Blur & Mosaic AI does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
